Room Attendant
Clean guest rooms and/or suites in a timely and thorough manner to ensure total guest satisfaction and maintain standards of cleanliness and sanitation and provide turndown duties as necessary. Clean and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removing trash, etc. Provide turndown service according to established brand or hotel standards and procedures such as turning down linens, closing drapes, refresh amenities, etc. This position will require the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight.

House Attendant
The Housekeeping House Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. Clean and service the assigned public areas according to established quality standards and procedure (I.E. public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas, and other public areas for assigned floors; Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas; remove trash, wipe down shelves/counters; sweep and wax floor, remove non-floor closet items and store in appropriate areas.) Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions. Maintains linen rooms with adequate stock of all supplies. Transports all clean and dirty linen to the appropriate areas. Shampoos carpet, clean hallways, and sweeps stairwells as needed. Assist room attendants on assigned floors; collect dirty linens and transport to laundry area, deliver fresh linens to room attendant carts throughout the day. May assist with stripping linens from room and/or the cleaning of public areas. Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and housekeeping staff. Respond to guests’ requests such as delivery of housekeeping supplies (e.g. linens, cots, etc.) in a timely and efficient manner.

Banquet Houseperson (On-call)
The Banquet/Convention Service Housperson is primarily responsible for the set-up and break down all meeting rooms, banquet space and ballroom areas. Clean and maintain all corridors, vending areas, elevators and landings and service areas in the banquet facilities ensuring hotel’s standards of cleanliness. Must provide prompt and courteous service to guests during banquet/catering functions. May need to assist servers in serving menu items if business dictates. Primarily responsible for leading the set-up and break-down, and/or service and clean up, of banquet functions during assigned shift and providing prompt and courteous service to guests during banquet/catering functions. Assign work and monitor the performance of scheduled banquet staff. They are responsible for making the function space visually appealing and presenting the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Work closely with Kitchen Staff to communicate speed of service, client numbers, and special requests. Respond to guest requests and/or complaints in a prompt and professional manner. Participate in pre-function meeting and review all information pertinent to service and set up of group. Inspect scheduled function areas/rooms, table set-ups, bar set-ups, buffet tables, receptions and coffee breaks for cleanliness, attractiveness, and proper layout. Follow procedures to (1) ensure the security and proper storage of banquet inventory and equipment, (2) ensure the security of monies, credit and financial transactions, (3) check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness, and (4) to minimize misuse and breakage of china, glassware, linen, and supplies and to ensure that no re-usable goods are wasted. Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a fast-paced position that involves heavy lifting, pushing and pulling as well as excessive walking, standing and bending. Candidate should have basic skills in department training and capability of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef. Must ensure all food quality controls are met and ensure daily compliance with health department and hotel food safety audits.

Clean and/or wipe down tables, chairs, walls, windows, mirror and floors of restaurant. Separate dirty china, glassware and silver and deliver to kitchen for cleaning. Perform set-up and closing side work assignments such as make coffee, fold napkins, etc. Stock service station or pantry with napkins, placemats, condiments, etc. May be required to transport linens to and from laundry. May routinely fill water glasses, serve non-alcoholic beverages, and assist servers by delivering items to guest tables. Perform other duties as assigned including but not limited to room service duties.
