This is a fast paced position that will involve constant customer interaction and/or associate interaction. The Dishwasher position will also share Cafeteria Attendant responsibilities when business dictate and/or to cover time off requests, inclusive of maintaining cleanliness associate cafeteria.

Cook Supervisor
This position is responsible for the production of food items for any one of our F&B outlets and banquet operations. This is a fast-paced position that involves heavy lifting, pushing and pulling as well as excessive walking, standing and bending. Responsible for producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner. Person has basic skills in department training and is capable of assuming department responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef. On a daily basis must monitor food production, quality and consistency, and assist in departmental training. Prepares soups, sauces, stocks, bouillons and consommés. Acknowledges all broiled, sautéed, boiled and poached items. Supervise all aspects of the food production for the kitchen, including food preparation and supervise crew. Adhere to sanitation practices. Must ensure all food quality controls are met and ensure daily compliance with health department and hotel food safety audits.

Cook 1
Entry Level Cook is a culinary position that requires basic culinary skills or related experience. This position is responsible for the production of food items for any one of our F&B outlets and banquet operations. The Cook 1 is responsible primarily for, but not limited to, preparing and maintaining the cold food station (i.e. vegetables, etc.). This is a fast-paced position that involves heavy lifting, pushing and pulling as well as excessive walking, standing and bending. Banquet Server
Provide prompt and courteous service to guests during banquet/catering functions. Serve menu items to guests in a prompt and courteous manner and according to the banquet event order; time the service of courses to correspond with the dining pace of the guests. Perform pre- and post-shift side work, set-up, condiments, etc. Clear tables after service. Remove trays of dirty dishes, silverware and glassware to kitchen for cleaning. Respond to guest inquiries and special requests promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction; notify supervisor of guest complaints or unusual situations. Properly store all reusable goods. Perform other duties as assigned, which may include assisting with set up and break down of function space, and plating of meals. Perform other duties as assigned.

Greeters are responsible for welcoming and creating the first impression for guests. These individuals will provide table accommodations to guests and offer menu recommendations by acknowledging and greet guests in a prompt and courteous manner; seat guests ensuring a balanced workload among servers. Maintain accurate waiting list as needed. May take food and beverage orders and assist in check close out for servers as needed. May routinely clear and reset tables and assist with opening tasks such as assigning stations to servers. May be asked to handle guest complaints and special requests. May assist with other duties as assigned. The Hostperson/Greeter has the ability to influence the overall restaurant experience by their interaction with guests; they are the final point of contact and have the ability to ensure guest satisfaction.

Instant Service Agent
Answer incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner and handle room service orders (follow established script to encourage up-selling with room service orders) via phone from guests. Efficiently and professionally handle multiple incoming calls at once. This role is high-pressured multi-tasked position, having continuous communication with the in-room dining servers on amenity coordination and all deliveries, acting as central communications point during emergency and/or crisis situations and promptly route internal/external calls to its destination. Answer calls within prescribed time frame, respond to caller in a professional manner and according to established scripts and standards, provide callers with local directions and general information in a courteous and accurate manner, etc. Respond to in-house guest concerns or complaints in a timely manner. Follow emergency, safety and security procedures including calling local fire, police, poison control, etc. for assistance.

Candidate should have previous hotel/guest service. Candidate must have an outgoing personality and be well-versed in Monterey Peninsula tourist attractions. Candidate should have excellent communication skills as well as be able to work a variety of schedules and shifts. Responsible for varied Guest Service responsibilities, primarily handling guest luggage, delivery of fax, newspapers, etc. and can include shifts as a Doorperson, Bellperson and/or Lobby ambassador.

The Front Office Agentís primary responsibilities are to promote and ensure guest satisfaction and deliver prompt, courteous service. This position assists in maintaining all aspects of the Front Office areas and serves as a support to the Front Office Management team (and Bell Staff and Night Audit Staff). Provide timely and professional check-in/check-out services in accordance with established scripting and standards. Promote hotel services, facilities and outlets; provide guests with information such as local attractions and directions to increase guest satisfaction. Position will be required to work varied schedule that may include evenings, nights and weekends.
